A lovely cafe where you can relax and enjoy fantastic food whilst getting creative. I found the experience therapeutic and would definitely visit again. A place for solo, couples and families alike in the charming village setting of Haworth.

Fantastic day out. Brilliant menu, was lots of different options to choose from. Only a 4 star for food as was extremely busy so waited a little longer for food but the female manager did come over and inform us it wouldn't be long, which as we was in the loop it was OK and was definitely worth the wait once it came.. we painted pots which was a lovely added extra. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Brilliant visit and will definitely be back.

A truly wonderful place to visit on the historic main street cobbles in Haworth. There is an array of items to paint yourself and then you can have them glazed and fired so you have your keepsake in top condition, there is an extensive food and drink menu, everything from breakfast to sandwiches, main lunch and dinner options, hot and cold drinks both non alcoholic and alcoholic are available, lots of fun for people of all ages, the children will have great fun and the adults can either join in or watch on with a relaxing drink.

Very disappointing first visit Granola and berries - granola soft and inedible - asked waiting staff about it but they said it was a new type that was meant to taste like that! Bacon breakfast sandwich swimming in fat. The coffee was delicious - but meal not worth the money and wouldn't recommend based on this morning's experience.

Lovely dog friendly cafe where you can create your own piece of pottery. Very welcoming staff. Varied menu. Will come again next time in Haworth. Best booking as it gets busy.

Lovely little cafe. The food and coffee was really nice. We didn't get a chance to do any pottery painting this time but would love to return to do some! Very welcoming and a great atmosphere 🎄

This was the first time we visited as read very good reviews about the food. The food was lovely and the staff who served us were polite and helpful. What has put us off about returning is the abrupt manner of what i can assune was the manger of the cafe. We accidently walked on and sat down at a free table instead of waiting to be served (it was very busy and we innocently didn't see the sign). We were barked at by the manager that we should have waited to be seated. Upon paying and leaving, we had no thank you for your custom, how was everything, merry Xmas nothing! Perhaps businesses up the main street become complacent as they assume people will just come into their cafes for food and drink, however, don't assume you'll get repeat business with customer service like that.

This is a lovely cafe in Haworth. Clearly labelled vegan section, lots of drinks on offer and we honestly weren't even going to get food, as we were just meeting up with a friend for coffee, but they recommended it, so we did! My partner had vegan sausage and mushroom sandwich which they enjoyed, our friend got poached egg on toast and I got some pancakes, just because, really! I did find one thing strange on the menu, that was a little confusing. It said 'pancakes and waffles' and then a choice of 2 toppings you can choose. It was only upon ordering this that the server mentioned its pancakes OR waffles, which I think they should probably state on the menu slightly clearer, everything else had its own section, so it was assumed that those things were together. It was an easy chose with the pancakes and had maple syrup and a very tart compote, which was so good! The place was getting quite busy, so we did wait a while for our drinks, but we hadn't booked and hadn't planned on even having food and staying that long, so I understand. All in all, lovely place to go for lunch or a drink. Chai latte comes highly recommended, as does the coffee! And dog friendly always a bonus!

I love cobbles and clay, I visit everytime I come to Haworth the staff are always so lovely and the food is amazing. However I have to mention the behaviour of one lady with short blonde hair it’s usually pretty rude, stand offish, abrupt etc, towards customers and her staff too! I wouldn’t want to work with her 😬😬 but other than that it’s great lol!

Waiter service were polite but new and didn't appear to have anyone to ask for help. The lady on the till was very abrupt and is most of the time we go in. I presume as it's very busy but doesn't give a good lasting or first impression

Nice little shop, good menu and food was great. Saturday morning at 9.15 the service for order was poor. When it came the lady was great but wait time was poor.

I spent a few days in Haworth this week and ended up having lunch here twice, it was that good! From the delicious food, to the friendly staff and great service, I can’t praise them highly enough! I may have to come back to Yorkshire just for their incredible carrot cake! Thanks to the team at Cobbles & Clay!

Been before and loved it so much I booked and back for my birthday - unfortunately we were shoved in corner and forgotten about - waited 30 minutes for service (watching customers who came in after us be served immediately was our first red flag) however when we received the food it was subpar. The booked table was for 2 hours so we rushed the food so we could paint for our last hour. We picked our items to paint and waited to be noticed so we could start painting (we double checked with the lovely person upstairs that that was the right process and they confirmed it was) - paint never arrived, our dirty plates were never collected after we waited 20 minutes. In the end we got up and left. Not sure if that table is just often missed or if we were just very unlucky but it wasn’t the treat I’d anticipated as our previous visit (earlier in the year, before the menu change) was delightful

Very rarely do i feel the need to write a poor review. However our latest visit to Cobbles & Clay was the worst experience i have ever had in an eating establishment. We were treating a friend to lunch so we booked a table as we know from previous visits it can be very busy. Our greeting was ok and we were shown to our reserved table. We ordered coffee while we waited for our food , the coffee was luke warm. The food arrived fairly quickly a bowl of chilli and rice cold with a dried skin on top, the Cajun chicken flatbread also cold ( i dont risk chicken not heated through). I spoke to the waitress who i have to say was really lovely and very helpful, she took the chilli and the cajun chicken away and ordered us fresh. The other member of our party ate their lunch a bhaji butty which was a very small portion while we waited. After around 15 mins the replacement food arrived.. the chilli was piping hot ( not rocket science microwaving a bowl of chilli). Unfortunately the Cajun chicken was again cold and i dont mean luke warm, i mean cold. I really didnt want to risk eating poorly heated chicken so i told the waitress and she took the dish away and said she would take it off the bill. She was so nice and kind if it had been left at that i would have been disappointed but would have put it down to a one off. However the next minute the manageress flies upstairs and marches over to the table to tell me in no uncertain that the chicken wasnt cold because she had watched it come out of the pan, she was very rude and abrupt. I said so are you saying i am lying? she gave us all a filthy look spun around and marched back downstairs. Never as a customer have i been spoken to in such a way , even the table next to us said how disgusting it was. Why the manageress thought i would lie about cold food and spoil what was meant to be a lovely treat for our friend i have no idea. I asked the waitress who was really lovely who the woman was who had spoken to us and she said she was the manageress. It is very unfortunate you have such a rude woman as your manageress as what i was writing off as a one off problem was ruined by her awful attitude , she left all three of us feeling really awful. I am a local person and after this experience i will never ever step another foot inside Cobbles and Clay and needless to say i will no longer be recommending . Such a shame.

After a beautiful Worth valley train journey and a nice walk reached the amazing place of Haworth. A great location for photography and romance. Visited the Bronte's place as well and then felt hungry. Found this cute restaurant/cafe close to the Bronte's place. Entered and found pretty little things in the restaurant. Interesting food menu, beautiful quotes and marvellous showpieces convinced me to sit close to the window and get lost in a living dream. The view from the window was outstanding as the beautiful valleys were lit up by the gorging sunlight. The delicious fish soup danced down my throat and was enough to start the foodgasm. Then the chilled beer with another bowl of soup gave a boost to walk around Haworth with much more energy. The service was like a piece of butter, smilingly melting on the heart of cracking bread. The place was as neat as the first pour of Jack Daniels with two chunks of ice. The beautiful quotes on the walls will bound to make you feel the aroma of life. The restaurant/cafe itself states the character of Haworth and what England is all about. It was such a lovely moment. Beautiful memories. Golden days. Don't miss the charm of life which you can feel while sitting and munching in this little world. Thanks .

Had to sit outside as it was so busy. Had a very small table for 3 of us & 2 large dogs. Food brought out to an obviously small table but we weren't helped with another table being moved over. Food was lovely, soup was really good. Great varied menu

Usually love coming here at this time of year, but I was left very disappointed at the portion sizes for kid's meals. I ordered a cheese and tomato pizza meal for two kids, and we were served two mini pizza baguettes. Very disappointing as they were nowhere near filling enough even for my two year old, let alone my 8 year old nephew! Please sort it out.

Expect to spend a lot of money here. I ordered a pizza for £9 and got what was probably the smallest pizza I've ever seen, and also dripping with oil. Considering that the pottery is also quite expensive, it's quite annoying that we were only provided with about half of the paint colours and had to ask if we wanted more. On top of that, a lot of the colours we did have were dried up or almost empty. Plus, our table was so wobbly and any time anybody walked past it would shake really quite dramatically, to the point where we had to stop painting whenever somebody passed. Overall, it was a fun experience but way too expensive and I wouldn't bother ordering food.
